Sketchbook 14: Bad Information Design

As long as I have known about the periodic table of element I have just really hated the way it looks. Yes I get the reason why things are in the places they are, based on the atomic weight and so on. Yet I feel after all this time someone should have made a better layout for this that makes more sense visually. 

Maybe a future project.

This is an example of Postmodern design in that is embraces technology that would not have been possible prior to the technological advances of the later part of the 20th century.
